Care Assistants

Your day to day duties would include:
Assisting and helping residents with their daily routines: washing, dressing, having meals also encouraging them to take their own initiatives where possible

supporting and helping residents to remain active and independent

Respecting resident's dignity, the right of choice and privacy

Assisting residents with their mobility after receiving training and knowing how to use moving equipment if required

Liaising with other professionals and relatives in achieving the best outcome for the residents

working independently and showing initiative to maintain a stimulating environment for the residents

Candidates, who are experienced in elderly care, have a good knowledge of dementia, good communication and interpersonal skills, or candidates who are willing to change their career paths : welcome.

Candidate Requirements

NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
Minimum 6 months experience

Good basic education, including English and Math

Experience of working with the elderly in a healthcare setting

Successful candidates must have a CRB
