Stunning cast iron bed from luxury bed makers 'And So To Bed' in a stunning 'day in the saddle' design. Perfect for equine lovers or those with a Country residence. Complete with slatted base; and has only been used to dress a home for selling, it has never been slept in. The frame looks amazingly like it is made of leather straps, but it is infact solid cast iron; incredibly sturdy structure which does not 'wobble' creak or move about once set up. The head and base board have 4 screws on each leg which attach to the slatted base, so very easy to assemble. Pls note whilst you may not notice from the photos there were some light surface scratches/marks to paintwork (caused during removal from property) which may be too slight to show up, but since photos were taken they have now been professionally repainted. You would probably never notice but I mention for the sake of accuracy. Pls note this is a very heavy bed, and both the head and the footboard will each require 2 people to lift. I can help lift and load at this end but you will definitely need someone to assist with unloading at your end, it is made from cast iron and so much heavier than it looks! Takes a standard kingsize mattress (not provided although I do have a new John Lewis one available for sale) and overall measures: 61" wide, with the headboard standing 56.5" high and the base board 39" high.
