Description
This fitting is available either self colour (black) or hot dipped galvanised which are suffixed -GALV. BLACK FINISH: All tupy BSP fittings are usually used for supply systems for diesel, oil, alcohol, oxygen, gases, hot water, and other fluids which will not affect the pipeline's useful life span i.e. where little internal anti-rust protection is called for. It is recommended that black finish pipeline's be protected externally against environmental action (acid soil, mortar, electrochemical corrosion etc.). GALVANISED FINISH: Aside from the uses described for the black finish fittings, Tupy BSP galvanised finish fittings are also applied in supply systems for drinking water; for fire prevention and fire fighting with sprinklers or hydrants; pipelines for compressed air, gas, gasoline and diesel oil; refrigeration fluids; industrial water and other fluids requiring internal anti-rust protection.
