Stourbridge based A Comedy Theatre Group is continuing with its aim to give local talent an opportunity to have their work performed on stage. Their latest offering is another brand new and original play - First Aid.

The first full length play penned by Stourbridge writer/actor Laura Liptrot is a comedy drama demonstrating what happens when a group of people are thrown together to study a subject none of them have any knowledge of.

Take a retired teacher; a dispirited DJ; an alternative therapist; a hen-pecked husband; an office worker and her married workmate's ex-boyfriend; a computer game addict; a young woman lost in love; a mother who can't put her mobile phone down then send them all on a first aid course led by a tutor who flees at the first signs of illness.

Somehow each one discovers what is missing from their lives...besides a first aid qualification!

Laughs and tears aplenty as heads roll, tensions as tight as a bandage snap and dilemmas are uncovered that will take more than a sticking plaster to heal!

The action takes place at Gig Mill Methodist Church Hall, Witton Street, Stourbridge DY8 3YG on Friday 22nd of June at 7.30 p.m. and again on Saturday 23rd of June at 2.30 and 7.30 p.m.
